I had a wonderful experience here with my friend yesterday. For starters, we ordered the charcuterie board, which was excellent. For our entrees, I got the cod fish and my friend got the shrimp risotto. We had the banana cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious and our waitress, Natasha, was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be back.
I love Siena. Their dishes are delicious filled with flavor and aroma. I wanted to try everything the first time we went. But I've managed to indulge a few more times there so I've sampled a lot of the dishes and I can say without hesitation that this is one fine Italian restaurant located outside the hustle and bustle of Providence.
The night was simply amazing. I appreciate the staff. We were so thrilled to spend the evening enjoying the food, wine and staff.
To me this will be one of my more interesting reviews. You have to give credit when something works out perfect. Carlene and I went to Siena in Greenville for her birthday. It started with good bread, two types, then an appetizer, dinner and dessert. When we were finished, each of us was just perfectly full, not overfull not longing for more but perfectly full. Portion sizes run a bit small ! Interestingly, it didn't matter. We had the bread, the appetizer, the dinner and dessert,it all added up to ...perfection, we both agreed also. So I'd suggest, have the bread, have an appetizer, have your dinner and dessert and you will leave here Sated and Satisfied and marvel at the perfection of this restaurant. If I came just for dinner only, both of us agreed we would not have been happy but put the whole package together and Wow! The food was good all the way around. We will absolutely go back! I had the filet mignon with a creamy mushroom type gravy atop...apologies for not having the proper name. It was delicious. I was in the mood for a good steak and this is where I found it. I also tried the eggplant appetizer. I would call it a rollatini. A fried piece rolled up with ricotta cheese inside topped with marinara. Chefs kiss. Great meal, expensive, but worth it. Outstanding service as well.
Tonight was such a pleasant surprise. I was really pleased from making reservations to sitting down in a very clean comfortable booth with a great atmosphere and lighting was adequate. Our server Tasha was amazing,in fact she was so aware and attentive with my table and detail. I have not had a server this good in years!! She didn’t miss a beat! Food was fresh and delicious and even those two things are rare these days. The busboy with bread and water were instant as soon as you sat down. Plates never stayed on table for more than 2 min when you were done, picked up off the table immediately. Our server was helpful polite and very kind. I will definitely return! It is very hard to get 5stars from me but this was an easy choice.
We've been here several times over the years and have yet to have a bad meal. They make excellent drinks as well.
Wow. What an amazing Italian restaurant. Made us feel like we were back in Italy. The food is amazing and they really know how to make the flavors and textures bounce off you palette. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is amazing.
When my husband and I realized we had been introduced to each other exactly 50 years ago, we decided to have celebratory dinner with the couple who introduced us. Siena was the perfect place! From the delicious appetizers to the yummy deserts, everything was amazing. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection. My husband loved the potato encrusted cod. Our seatmate enjoyed the pollo alla milanese, chicken dish, and the jumbo shrimp dish. We shared an appetizer special of sliced fennel and red onions with pomegranate seeds. For deserts, we got the lemon creme brulee and Gelato. The atmosphere was festive, the service was impeccable, reservations were a cinch to make, and free parking. We could not have asked for a more perfect dining experience! Our 50th wedding anniversary is coming up next year, and Siena tops the list (by far) as our chosen venue.
I’ve never had a bad meal here. The food and drinks are always on point. The wait staff is always quick to get you what you need, and the food comes out smelling delicious. I’m always trying the new specials and they’re soooooo good. We love coming here for special birthday dinners (and sometimes just because we really want to penne and vodka sauce).
